So Tuesday march 15th and wednesday march 16th, the poker gods were loving me. I have found that the $25 tables at party poker can be very profitable. My normal session consists of 3 tabling this $25 buyin. The 15th and 16th, I ended up profit $160 in a little over 6 hours of play (6 * 3 per table i suppose is 18 table hours.) I was playing well, confident in myself, and it didn't hurt that I had some key hands where I had the best hand, to someone's second best :)

Then, tonight happened. I dropped $50 on two tables in just under an hour. The first of which happened on this hand:

I put him on a crappy two pair, maybe QK in that situation. Didn't put him on 88. No flush draws, nothing scary at all. QQ and KK were out of the question, he woulda raised preflop. I just found it very hard to lay down my set in that situation. Oh well.

The other hand was rather lame. I made a horrible reraise all in, the guy later told me if I pushed first, instead of letting him pot bet, he would have folded. Once you see his hand, I think he should have anyway... but that's just me:

Matt Jacobs and I were arguing that my AK on the following hand was a possible lay down. I say hell no. If you are going to lay TPTK (top pair top kicker) down with no flush draws down in this situation, you are playing much too tight on Party Poker. Anyway, here is the hand:
