Congress Approves Internet Gambling Ban Bill

and

Gambling Online Faces Collapse in US after Senate Ban

WOW. I see this working out one of two ways. Either a) this affects US online poker very little, or b) this destroys US online poker. Hopefully, the former happens.

I do not know too many of the details, but what I do know is that this is obviously NOT a good thing for US online gambling. Once again, the people we elected into power have failed us. Now why didn't the state or federal government just tax online gambling and make roughly $3 billion dollars a year in revenues? I guess no congressman has a business degree.
