How fucked up is it that in a mere 3 - 12 months, it will be ILLEGAL, yes ILLEGAL, for me, as an American, living in the US of A, to play online poker. A game to which I use my OWN money. My actions taken do not cause any pain to any single person or group of people. I am simply sitting at a computer, using the Information Super Highway as a means of communication. And now, because congress does not know what the fuck they are doing (have they ever?), they have decided that online gambling should be outlawed in America (with no solid basis for their argument, mind you).

This blows. I used to have faith that the people elected to Congress would keep in mind that they are supposed to be making decisions based on what the people want. Well, congress, THIS IS NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT. Fuck you government.

On a lighter note, I'm guessing with all the backlash this is going to cause, and all the lobbying that will be done, we will see online Poker (not too sure about online gambling) back in the mainstream in less than a years time. Hopefully I am right about this. We shall see.
